Instead of 'eeny meeny' we would count out saying----

Azinky pinky iggery ell

Ile dile dominell

Azurky purky tole aloke

Ann tan toosy joak

You are out.

Has anyone any idea what it means or where it came from? I was at the Central School in Ardrossan so maybe it's an ancient Ardrossan language!!! Never did see it written so the above is how it sounded. M.
