I remember the word 'Nincompoop' being used to describe someone who wasn't exactly the brightest. :puter

TIZZY - (as in "Don't get yourself in a tizzy) - "a state of nervous excitement or agitation".

Never heard a thicky before? I always call it an ootsider but Mrs B calls it an endy.

Yep most definitely spee yugs there were hoosies and hedgies, house sparrows and hedge sparrows.
Stukkies-starlings.
One of my mums favourite phrases was take a fleeing duriewunkle at a tattie???
Stewarton language lol.
Still don't know what a duriewunkle is 🤔
