May I add my condolences to the others expressed in the three towners site. I only new him briefly, but found him to be a likable guy, and very knowledgeable about his home town of Stevenston. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time, so sad.

Bobby was a fine man whom i made friends with as soon as we met.I found him to be a quiet unasuming, and well mannered. He had a wry sense of humour,(Mind you,if you follow Ardeer Thistle that is compulsory). Please allow me to pass my sincere condolences to Bobbys family .

I knew Robert many years ago at the Higher Grade. I remember him as a footballer. Even though I only had contact with him thru this site, I feel very upset at his death. He was such a regular poster and always had great pictures and stories. May God bless his family at this time, and bring them comfort. Safe journey, Robert.

Could someone announce the service details here for Robert when available. I'm sure there will be a few locals on our forum who'd lke pay their last respects.
