What are you reading now?
Re: What are you reading now?
Have just finished reading the life and times of the thunderbolt kid by Bill Bryson. Latecomer to this writer my brother had told me about him and I had bought him a couple of his books for his christmas present.
Very funny and enjoyed it immensely and will be looking at some of his other titles.

I'm about to start reading 'Middlesex' by Jefrey Eugenides. My daughter warned me of bits of it being perhaps unsuitable...now, when did THAT happen?

Just finished Craig Ferguson's 'American on Purpose', a good read and I could relate to quite a bit of his childhood. His show is on late (the Late, Late show ), but I try to stay up for it. This book gave me insight into the struggle behind the success.

Must look out for that one, Morag. I think I might have told you before, I believe he spent a couple of years in Melbourne. Saw his show from the states once and enjoyed it.
I've fallen back on an old favourite novelist over the last few weeks. Sidney Sheldon is the man, or was the man, I believe he's well gone now. He's the guy who wrote the long running TV series - I dream of Jeanie, The Patty Duke Show and you'll remember Hart to Hart too.
