These are diving Gannets after baitfish similar to small pilchards. Taken from a cliff near us on Port Philip Bay.

Great photos keep them coming. We were in loading in Haypoint ,Queensland Australia some years back near the great barrier reaf, but could not get ashore to go on the glass bottom boats. but we did get along to Mckay to get some xmas shopping.

I agree Ellen, great photos of wildlife and so well taken too. Moving objects are hard pictures to take, Hughie... but looks like you have done it with such ease. Thanks for sharing.

Taken in Johnny and Margaret (McCubbin) Gemmell's Street in Queensland. Big strong things they are and we stayed in the car. Lovely countryside.

This spider was on my garage roll-a-door the other day. Even when I raised and lowered it, it remained put while it was rolled up with the door - didn't come to any harm - I never kill spiders. :) It was gone the next day, noo I wonder where it went - never told the Mrs.
