Heres a rare moment…
A Beatle, a Saltcoats celebrity, and a very old photo of Hamilton Street Saltcoats all in one photo, with the release of Colin’s album “ Now and the Evermore”
Ringo Starr with Colin Hay formerly of Australian band Men at Work ( Do You Come from a Land Down Under) but now a very successful solo artist. His father had a music shop in that same Saltcoats street.

Fantastic find - one wee thing, Hays the music shop in Hamilton Street was owned by his grandparents, not his parents. Saw Colin live a couple of times, last time in the old fruit market in Glasgow.

Just tried Bonzo - both dates sold out - it’ll be a couple of great gigs. You going?

Nah Meg, was in Duncans at the end of November and noticed the 1st date(which was sold out then)and when I read this thread this morning I checked back and a 2nd date had been added. Obviously that is now sold out as well.
