Snowy river

We are having an Australian TV serial every morning at 8am. Filmed in the Hills above Melbourne. . Snowy river. Is It worth getting up for?

Hi Jean, I don't recall it myself but from the following it seems to have been popular See here

Reminds me of when we first came to Australia. the McCubbins, Bobby and Netta along with my wife and I did a motoring / camping tour of the Snowy Mountains in 1965 or 66. Had a lovely time though the girls were a bit wary of sleeping out in the open in a tent where creepy crawly things might abound. Netta slept in the VW while Betty slept in our GM Holden car when we were in the high country.

Quite enjoyable, well made and interpreted, but like something out of the sixties, not actual in todays world.
You wouldnt know It was Australia, It could be anywhere.
It would have been nice to listen to in the Australian accent, but I have to listen to It in Italian.
Due to the time of trasmission, i dont expect to watch It again.

It’s available on Amazon prime here in Australian English accent. I watched the full series and enjoyed it.
