Discovered these misplaced photos the other day while searching for something else. I had thought BIL Ronnie McGurk had sent them, but my wife reckons Gavin gave them to us in 2009 or perhaps it was in 2014 at the regular Sunday night quiz in Stevenston masonic while we were home on holiday.
On the back of this photo is written "Creating A Pond 1995".
And the following names: Morag Gemmel (nee McInnes), Dawn McCready, Sarah McCready, Racheal Farrel, Julie Carty and Allison Dickson.
On the back of the following photo is "Creating The Pond 1995".
On the back of the following photo "Finished Pond 2006".
Gavin's wee pond get's many a mention in Iain's brilliant topic Wildlife In Stevenston.

Re: Gavin's Wee Pond
Another of Gavin's group projects.
The Robert Burns' mural on the Ardeer sea-wall refurbishing in 2009 in preparation for what was the Homecoming Year.
These three photos had also been misplaced. The first shows Gavin (top right) with other helpers - that's Rabbie's left eye peering over Gavin's shoulder.
This second photo at the mural is said to feature Robert Moore and Michael Loughran painting the mural, it's dated 2002.
This third photo below is dated 2005, though a few things seem to indicate this and the one above were taken at the same time.

Great pics. Is that highfield drive houses in the background? The area looks unrecognisable to what it is today.
