Origin of B&W photos

Post by dreamer »

Hello all, a long time since I last posted on here. Over the years the below images have been posted on this forum, I was just wondering if anyone can identify their original source? I'd like to use them in some articles and it would be good to know where they came from, and if there's any way of getting a hold of the originals or a bigger scan of them. Thanks in advance. :)

Hi Dreamer, Why not PM the member who originally posted them to get the source. :)

Thanks Hughie, the photos have been posted a few times over the years, still trying to search back to see who the original poster was.

stivis, thanks but I don't see any of those photos on any of those pages?

I can tell you where the photo of the demolition in Dockhead Street comes from, because I posted it; I'm afraid its original source is the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald.

As for the photo of the Maple Leaf, I've just confirmed my feeling that it was Scott McCallum who posted it.
