Thanks very much folks. Heading down to Ardrossan at the end of the week with my nephew as he wants to see where his dad Hugh was born (gran's address at 162 Glasgow Street) and we will then cross over and show him 175 where I was born. It was the attic flat there and I'd love to go up but the close may now have a secure entry system. Then, to where the Coal Ree was where my dad spent much of his working life loading and unloading his lorry. Not bad for a man who'd polio in his legs when he was a kid!

It's going to be a day of memories.
