Subject: Stevenston Corn Mill
Message Body:
Dear Three Towners, Apologies for writing out of the blue.
I’m volunteering for Lucy Stewart at SPAB Scotland, and we’re in the early stages of arranging a conference on Scotland’s mills (working or historic!), to be held in Perthshire in May 2022. We hope to gather mill owners, heritage managers, curators, specialists and all other interested parties, to bring them together under one roof in celebration of Scotland’s mills heritage and to exchange knowledge and expertise.
I wondered if you might be able to put me in touch with anyone regarding the Stevenston Corn Mill? I'd be very keen to learn a little more about it, but can't pin down who is responsible for it.
Kind regards,
Merlin Lewis

In a previous discussion about the Ardeer Arms, hahaya2004 contributed: -
".....it seems from the valuation rolls that Ardeer Arms was in Main Street. It's mentioned together with a corn mill and was the property of Patrick Warner (Ardeer House). Hugh Smith was tenant of both the mill and the pub."
The mill also gets a mention in the following link: -
