Hi everyone, hope it's okay for me to post this here

I posted a little while ago about the Working Voices project, which is aiming to record the experiences of women who worked in local industry. Here's the website: https://www.garnockconnections.org.uk/p ... voices-2-0

We're hoping to hear from women who worked in local industries (such as at ICI Ardeer, in furniture production, steelworks, maritime industries, textiles etc) or anyone who has memories or stories of female relatives/friends who did. We're looking for any kind of story, even just memories of daily life, even if you can't remember many details. Anything and everything is welcome and useful!

We'll be putting together an online exhibition and, if we get enough stuff, an in-person exhibition too. The problem is that we don't have a lot of photos! Does anyone have any photos they'd like to be part of the exhibition? There's a few photos on the website already so have a look and see if you recognise any faces!

I have had a look, but only have male photos of that time, and mostly with shipping. very interesting fb site though !
