Just watched “The Davy Cooper Story”on You Tube today. What a talent he was, just wish Scotland could produce 2or3 of his type now.I saw him a few times down at Somerset Park at his peak. What a shame,he was taken away to early from this world. It brought back a few memories and players from years ago,but he did come across as a grumpy person buy we all have our little flaws.

When he fancied it one of the best players I've ever seen. Unfortunately I never seen Jimmy Johnstone or Jim Baxter live so cannae compare. Faddy on his day had the gallusness but hay ho.

Saw all three, and - Johnstone, Baxter, Cooper - in that order, for me, and Johnstone by a mile.
