I'm not a big fan of the "champions" league and very rarely watch it now but I wonder if Pochetino's mind is somewhere else........Manchester maybe?

I know what you mean bonzo its just a cash cow now for the tv companys. Spurs lost 3 matches in it last year and still made the final.... I preferred the old format - the toss of the coin.
You could be right about Mauricio Pochettino, something is just not right. Manchester or Madrid.

Watched The Rangers and Celtic games last night.
Porto 1 1 Rangers
Brilliant performance by Rangers- What a difference from the dismal 1-1 draw with Hearts on Sunday. At times they passed the ball about like Guardiolas Barcelona team. Taking a point from this game was a good result.
Celtic 2 1 Lazio
Celtic showed great character to come back from 0-1 in front of a packed and incredible atmosphere at Celtic Park. An excellent win against a class Roman outfit.
It's incredible how both teams can raise their game after playing against poorer teams in the Spl.

I thoroughly enjoyed both matches on BT Sport last night.
Why, however, after, over 150 years of league tables in the format of: -
P/ W/ D/ L/ GF/ GA/ PTS
has somebody decided it should be: -
PTS/ P/ W/ D/ L/ GF/ GA
I can't get used to it, and by the time my brain gets sorted out the caption has left the screen.

Brian,
What time of night is it? The day I retired, a long time ago now, I put my watch in a drawer and it hasn't seen the light of day since, and as a favourite singer of mine once said, "Time was once just a clock to me....."

Penny Tray- I wholeheartedly agree with you. And the same goes for the Rugby- When they introduced bonus points.
