A cannae be tellin' ye the ootcome o' the wee trapped lizard , ( yer too gentile! ) an a might put ye aff yer dinner !

Needless tae say oor Raberta wull in due course be informin' you of the strange cullinary delights that end up oan aussie BBQ's ...

" The Wee Wounded Bird "
1)
The wee wounded bird , lay in the snow
nothin' to do , an' naewhere tae go
she jist lay there chirpin' , a tear in her eye
watchin' the other wee birds in the sky .
2)
Her little heart pounded , afraid and alone
she wished she wis safe , in her ain little home
her wee baby chicks , jist had tae be fed
and withoot her tae feed them , they'd surely be dead .
3)
The prayers had all ended , and Sunday School over
an' aff through the fields , traipsed the young Scottish rover
the heart breakin' chirpin' , made him turn 'round
an' he noticed the wee wounded bird , on the ground .
4)
He drapped tae his knees , an' he brushed back the snow
an' he lifted the wee wounded bird , very slow
it's little beak opened , beggin' fur seed
an' he pulled oot his hankie , an' strangled it deid !!!
5)
Naw 'am only kiddin' , that's no' whit he done
he cerried it hame . tae his wee Saltcoats mum
she nursed it , a' better , an' then set it free
an' her wee baby chicks , were as chuffed as can be ...........
