Gerrard leaves Rangers for Aston villa. Bookies have stopped taking bets on Van Bronckhorst replacing him.

Good luck to him. Maybe, Wilson will bring in Derek McIness until the end of the season ..then appoint Van Bronckhorst.
The games i have watched Rangers on TV this year are poor compared to the previous.

Not a fan of Mcinnes especially in the 2nd half of his tenure at Aberdeen, in my eyes he became a really negative manager. According to Reporting Scotland they are going for a long term replacement and not a stopgap, but we'll see.

I dont think Rangers fans like him either .. did he not turn the job down before. The most important aspect is to win the League and then will qualify for the group stages of the Champions League? McInness knows every blade of grass in Scotland and should be able to achieve this.

Then kick him up the bum and tell him where to go .

Why appoint a temporary manager and then van bronckhorst next season when he is free at the moment and there will be no compensation to pay. Makes sense with his pedigree he will be accepted by the players and will bring contacts both in Europe and in Asia

Looks like Giovani Van Bronckhorst could well be offered the Rangers job.

He's undoubtedly a fairly big name in footballing terms but managerial appointments are always a bit of a gamble, sometimes they work sometimes they don't. Think he quit his last managerial post (in China) around a year ago.

Callum Davidson's jaikit must be on a shoogley peg at St Johnstone now.

He has certainly gone downhill since defeating Stevie Gerrards, Rangers. Kevin Thomson who "noises" commented he was doing a (job) with the youngsters at Ibrox could be in the running if CD departs Perth.??

For the benefit... Kevin Thomson is the current manager of Kelty Hearts who knocked out Callum Davidsons -St Johnstone 1-0 AET. in the Scottish Cup

Long way to go yet in the Premiership but Celtic were in absolutely scintillating form last night in a 3-0 win against a poor performing Rangers at Celtic Park. If truth be told it could easily have been 5 or 6 nil for the Hoops at half time but for the heroic's of Gers keeper Allan McGregor.
