Hi Everyone. I haven't posted on here for some time. I hope everyone is well and staying safe through this current crisis that engulfs us.

I have been working from home for over five weeks now, and when I finish I have been going for walks all over the place to preserve my sanity. The other night I found myself passing through Chapelhill Mount, and I walked over the hill where the Water Tower used to stand. Googling tonight for information and pictures threw up this Threetowners post.

My question is does anyone know when the Water Tower was demolished, and did it lie unused for years before that?

It was definitely still standing when St Peters Primary moved up that end of the town in late '95. I'd guess it came down around 1997. No idea if it was still in use, I' d assume not.
