I see the Mill Glen has now been drained and the fish relocated to the Busbie. Sad times.

I think I'd be up there not looking for fish, but for curling stones which were lost during the thaws over the many years they've played the curling game there.

Here's an old curling topic, and in particular this post with a couple of photos from the Mill pond: viewtopic.php?p=100945#p100945

We fished the Mill Dam often when I was a teenager as well as Whitlees and the Busby. Before we were able to get a season ticket, we used to buy daily or weekly permits from Mrs Cliff at the Millglen Filter House. Campbell

The Mill as the season went on was hard to fish due to all the weed. Thought is was shallower that in looked.
Never caught anything like a 3lb fish they got when moving the fish.

Some perch too. They should have taken those to Ardeer rec pond or Eglinton loch. I’d like to think they didn’t just let them perish.
