The second one looks like it was taken from the bottom of Jamaica Street looking south across Glasgow Bridge at Carlton Place. Just under the bridge, in front of Carlton Place, a cormorant sometimes sits on an exposed rock.
Don't recognise the first one but I'll study it further.

Jimmy/Scott,

I see it's the No. 29 Tram. It ran, I think, between Kelvinside Avenue and Rutherglen via Charing Cross.
Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.

Thanks for posting the postcards they are very good and the colours are excellent, infact they look as if they have been copied from a original watercolour painting?

The top one is Parkhead Cross in the east end of Glasgow. It's from a painting by Ian Mulholland Ian has copyright 2007.
The tram is heading into Tollcross Road coming from the Gallowgate. On the right in view is Duke Street with Westmuir Street on the immediate right out of view. The view is from Burgher Street and further along on the left out of sight is Springfield Road.
