I believe it's beef leg chops. There is a barrow bone in the middle.

I make one similiar to that Hughie, at the end I chop up parsley finely, garlic chopped finely and a piece of lemon rind finely, mix it together then sprinkle over the Osso Bucco before serving. Nice sharp taste, you have to like
garlic though...... Sarah

Re: Ozzo Buco
Made this today to give the old girl a wee rest from the cooking.
Made enough for a few extra serves as I'm batching from Friday to the following Wednesday - Party time

Re: Ozzo Buco
it is not party time Mr. Hughie It is time to make sure the house looks lovely when Mrs. Hughie returns
Painting? inside and/or out? any cupboard needing to be sorted (maybe been left forawhile? heaps of things for you to do yesiree...When Mrs. Hughie returns you will be tired out after working hard to make everything perfect for her. But hey I know you are such a good husband you do all this without asking anyway.
Be good but have fun! I will make that Ozzo Buico as I have seen that meat but never bought it - lots of bone marrow hey.
Phyl.

An efficiency expert concluded his lecture with a note of caution.
"You need to be careful about trying these techniques at home."
"Why?" asked somebody from the audience.
"I watched my wife's routine at dinner for years," the expert explained. "She made lots of trips between the refrigerator, stove, table and cabinets, often carrying a single item at a time.
One day I told her, 'Honey, why don't you try carrying several things at once?'
"Did it save time?" the guy in the audience asked.
"Actually, yes," replied the expert. "It used to take her 30 minutes to make dinner.
Now I do it in ten..."
