DEATHS

ANDREW - Peacefully, at the home of his daughter, Mrs Jean Rodger, 145 Barrshare Road, Cumnock, on 30th March 1975, Robert Andrew, aged 93 years, former Engine Driver at Ardrossan.
The tender father and the generous friend, the friend of man - to vice alone a foe, for even his failings leaned to virtue's side.

BELL - At 52 Frew Terrace, Irvine, on 29th March 1975, Jackson Bell, aged 77 years, beloved husband of Elizabeth Wilson, and much beloved father of Robert, Ella, Chrissie and Joan.

BERNTHAL - Suddenly, at Ballochmyle Hospital, on 31st March 1975, Robert Alfred Bernthal, aged 59 years, dearly loved husband of Margaret Barr, annd dear father of Margo, Betty & Roberta, and dear papa of Fiona, Margaret, Peter, Colin, Stewart and Robin, 15 Rowanside Terrace, Ardrossan.
Goodnight papa.

BRISBANE - At Kilmarnock Infirmary, on 1st April 1975, James Brisbane, 30 Garnock View, Kilwinning. Cremation took place at Masonhill, on Thursday 3rd inst.
Sadly missed by all the family.

CAIRNS - At 44 Overtoun Road, Springside, on 29th March 1975, Janet Howat, aged 79 years, wife of the late Ogilvie Cairns, and much loved mother of Margaret and Francis.

KILPATRICK - At Ayrshire Central Hospital, on 28th March 1975, Janet Kilpatrick, aged 78 years, daughter of the late David and Isabella Kilpatrick, 33 Hillcrest Drive, Stevenston.

LEWIS - At 23 Bankfaulds Avenue, Kilbirnie, on 31st March 1975, Samuel Lewis, aged 74 years, beloved husband of the late Mary Craig, and dear father of Robert.

MACLEAN - Peacefully, at Ballochmyle Hospital, Mauchline, on 1st April 1975, Alan Finlay Maclean, dearly loved husband of Gladys Mann, The Cottage, 2 Dallas Lane, Troon, and dear father of Michael and the late Johnny, and loved grandpa of Neil and Kenneth. Service in St Ninian's Church, Troon, today ( Friday ), at 2pm, funeral thereafter to Troon Cemetery, to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only please.

MANCINI - At Kilmarnock Infirmary, on 1st April 1975, Vincent Mancini, aged 66 years, beloved husband of Maria Cimorelli, and dear father of Frank and Dina, and much loved papa of Pauline and Vincent, 2 Montgomerieston Street, Kilbirnie. Fortified by Rites of Holy Church. RIP.

McCAULY - Suddenly, on 25th March 1975, John McCauly, aged 50 years, beloved husband of Helen Wardrope, and dear father of Elaine, 10 Stobbs Crescent, Kilwinning.

McGOOKIN - At the RAI, Paisley, on 2nd April 1975, William McGookin, aged 66 years, beloved husband of Annie Stewart, and dear father of Billy and Anna, 4 Pundavon Avenue, Kilbirnie.

McPHERSON - Suddenly, at 23 Beech Avenue, Beith, on 27th March 1975, David Graham Henderson McPherson, in his 64th year, beloved husband of Hilda Caldwell.

TOWNSLEY - At Ayrshire Central Hospital, on 27th March 1975, Elizabeth, aged 57 years, beloved daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Townsley, 16 Mayfield Road, Saltcoats. Fortified by Rites of Holy Church, RIP.

That was for my father and submitted by my stepmother, Jean. A much respected member of our family back home - they worked together at the Seamill Hydro before retiring.
