Really disappointed with that 6 nations, thought we had 4 wins in us. Played Ireland well yesterday but just came up short. Good to see Italy coming on a bit they've really been through the wringer over the years.

Know what you mean, altho' it strikes me we've been saying "this will surely be our year" for 3-4 years now, but I do believe we haven't yet seen peak Scotland - all they had to do was play the 2nd half of the lost games as well as the first...
However, it's striking quite how many 6N matches were so close in points scored, and who would complain about that?

Agreed, we lost twice by four points and once by 2 points, nothing in it really. Take Wales out of the equation and probably Ireland v Italy and most games have been pretty close.

Tell you what bonzo- when Italy came back to level the score I was feeling very uncomfortable. But will take the final score anyday.

Sure was Brian, we had a bit of a car crash first 20 minutes of the 2nd half but will take a bonus point win to start the tournament.

Ireland are a class act we really couldn't lay a hand on them. There was times when I was counting the number of players they had on the park, they seemed to have 2 or 3 more than us
Not being bitter but Ireland also get more than their fair share of decisions from the referee.

The cameras focused on Russell,Tuipulotu and somebody else I can't remember in the second half sitting in the stand and they were laughing. That's alright if the team is winning but getting a hammering I find that unprofessional.A lot of people today need p45ś

Sair wan yesterday, for the best part we played England off the park. I've yet to see the English try being touched down? Finn Russell left 6 point out there and I still don't understand why he took the conversation attempt from almost the touchline when the try was scored more than 5 meters in? Like I said hard one to take.

Yes, I agree with most of that bonzo.For all his brilliance Russell has flaws .. at times he is casual like Toonshead. Should have won comfortably, went to bed early in a stinking mood.

That was a lot more difficult than it should have been. It was a bit like last year, absolutely blew Wales away in the first half and we were just hanging on at the end.

Paris next week for the final game. Hopefully France will put themselves under pressure with thier chance of winning the championship and we can sneak a win. France really looked the real deal today.
