Hello,

I’m researching the American naval architect Henry Eckford (1775 – 1832) and his various ship designs and builds. He was born in Kilwinning, Scotland then immigrated to Canada and later would become America ’s premier ship designer during the War of 1812. He moved to Turkey in 1831 to build ships for the Sultan and died in Constantinople ( Istanbul ) Turkey on November 12, 1832.

Any help with information would be appreciated
