Hi Sarah,
Just click on their username over on the right beside the post you want to talk to them about, the PM will appear ready for you to add what you want before sending. There will already be a reference and link back to the original post in it.

If you want to PM someone when not referencing a post, just open your PM box and enter their username as in the following image, then click ADD. The result is in the second image ready for you to complete and send.
Hope this helps.

Sorry, Sarah. Meant to say click on the PM icon below their username, not their username.

Hi Hughie
My private message folder is full..how do I delete some or all? I looked for a delete button but couldn't see one...I'm sure I'm missing something

Hi Catherine,

On the right of the list of PMs, tick the box of the ones you want to delete, and go to the bottom to the drop down menu and you'll find delete there. BTW when the box is full the last PM gets deleted naturally as another arrives.

You can make another folder for any you want to keep. Simply name it something like "Kept PMs" and move the ones you want to keep to that new folder.
