A pair of Kookaburras I snapped the other week in Queensland. Their laughter-like call can be a wee bit off-putting on the golf course when you're about to take your swing - maybe even more so after you've hit a bad shot.

Wasn't there an expression in Scotland along the lines of 'a pigeon pair', what was that about? These are crested pigeons.
