ARDROSSAN NEW PARISH CHURCH

The new organ in this church was inaugurated on Friday night. The attendance was large, and the concert thoroughly enjoyed. The church was re-opened for public worship yesterday.

Two memorial windows under the side galleries are the gift of Mr James Mutter, of Meiklelaught, Ardrossan, Spanish Consul at Glasgow, and the wheel window is the gift of Misses Moffat, and these have been executed by the Messrs Kier, to harmonise with the memorial windows formerly gifted by Mr Bryce Douglas.

The seats, lighting, and other matters have been greatly improved.

Sermons were preached at all three diets of worship – in the morning by Rev. Donald MacLeod, D.D., of Park Church, Glasgow, in the afternoon by the pastor, Rev. J. D. McCall; and in the evening by the Rev. W. Lee Ker, Kilwinning.
