And here we are with the next session 1962-63, starting with the hockey and rugby teams . The trophy the rugby team has is ( once again )the James Murray Memorial Trophy for rugby sevens.

David Denver, the editor,later in life went on to be a lecturer in Politics at Lancaster University, as mentioned here where he and his brother are pictured in younger days. I've seen him quite a few times on local news here giving his analysis of political developments.

Thought I recognised David Denver there - Netta confirmed my thoughts. As I recall he was a Beggs Terrace lad and a former Eglinton pupil. His sister, Betty was in my older brother's class.
