Antwerp 3 4 Rangers

Yes it was some game !
Antwerps starting goalkeeper could easily settle in Glasgow?
I know a team who desperately need one ... //funny

Now that was a game of football not like the defensive stuff teams in Scotland serve up. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the game. Well done both teams.

meekan, Yip, an exciting game of Europa/league/Cup fitba that could have gone either way.

Re. Domestic League football, I doubt much will change soon. The smaller clubs usually always sit in against the big boys and try to sneak a goal or two which could ultimately prove vital to their own league survival chances come the end of the season.

Rangers have drawn Slavia Prague in the last sixteen in the Europa League after comfortably defeating Antwerp last night 9-5 on aggregate. Alfredo will have to be on best form against this crack Czech outfit for Rangers to go through.. personally I would have preferred Man United's second string.

Slavia Prague v Rangers- Live on BT Sport Thursday 17.55

So Rangers good run comes to an end after losing 2-0 to Slavia Prague at Ibrox last night(3-1) on aggregate. Plenty of talking points .. But Rangers were outclassed so can learn from this for next season's Champion League.

Malmo 2 1 Rangers - UEFA Champions League Qualifying Third Round

Listened on BBC Scotland sportsound .(Brilliant as usual)

Seems like Rangers got a get out of jail card.. and will fancy chances in Govan next week to overcome the deficit and get through.

bonzo- One good turn deserves another ..as you probably know the -FK JABLONEC v CELTIC game on Thursday night is live on BBC Scotland 16.45 BST.

Good luck to all the Scottish teams in Europe this week.

Just as a matter of interest . Do you agree about the change this year.

Brian I do agree with the new rule, or a return to the old rule. The rule was brought in to stop teams being defensive when playing away from home, but in fact it stifled open play in the tie overall. Never agreed with it when it was brought in and I’m happy to see it dropped.
