My pal was there with his daughter - said it was a brilliant atmosphere. Apparently they expected a crowd of around 10,000 (4000 was the previous record) - but they eventually got 18,000

Thought our Australian Matildas were ranked higher than sixth.

England 2 Scotland 1

As massive underdogs Scotland put in a very good performance. England just about edged it with the help of a dodgy penalty.

Nice to wake up this morning and find that our Matildas had a 3-2 win over Brazil. Nice after their bad start against Italy. Jamaica next. :)

Hughie-I watched the highlights of that game, The Matildas done well coming back from 2-0 down !

Scotland lost to Japan 2-1 , So according to BBC sport the Scots can still qualify by beating Argentina in their final game on Wednesday and making the knock-out stage as one of four best third-placed sides.

Just proved they are Scottish 3–0 up and get knocked out the competition with a 3-3 draw. So sad😩

Yes we had some questionable decisions against us last night but that can't hid the total capitulation in the last 20 minutes. It was crying out for some changes to be made but the subs came to late. Played great for 70 minutes then imploded.
