Maybe PT but as I recall she returned to South African citizenship for the Barcelona Olympics, I think she was happy to run under any flag to partake in the games (my thoughts only).

Bonzo, I don't disagree. I was just adding Budd to the list of those who at least had a connection with the country they adopted or were adopted by. Fernandes does not seem to fall into that category.

Aye, you're keen Hughie. Should both be exciting semi-final matches though.

I'm wondering, if England lose will any of the daily rag sport's headline writer's up here go with something like this the next day?

"They're going Home, they're going Home, they're going ... England's going Home, they're going!"

It's maybe to do with the design of stadia but I've watched every match so far and have yet to see a wheelchair fan?????

That's interesting, P.T. I remember a long time ago all those mostly blue invalid three-wheelers at Ibrox with their occupants enjoying the games. Bet there are a few stories there...

Enjoyed the first semi. Missed the first 15 minutes as I overslept. Better set the alarm for the next one.

I’m sure Paul Simon must have wondered what the hell the cheer was about halfway through one of his songs at the Hydro last night. Great concert btw.
