George, it is coming back to me now.
My google search added to my confusion as that no14 actually was back to back with my Aunts house in Hunter Avenue.

Hi George, I see before you have stated George had a daughter named Georgina. I’m trying find out if he had son named Stanley also. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I have just visited the Scotland's People website and found that Stanley Reid Barrie was born on 21 December 1903 at 19 Barrie Terrace, Ardrossan. His father was George Barrie, a coal merchant and his mother was Agnes Barrie, maiden surname Reid.

I hope this is useful.

The following family intimation also appears in the Glasgow Herald of 22 December, 1903: -

BARRIE: At Waterloo, Barrie Terrace, Ardrossan, on the 21st instant, the wife of George Barrie, coal agent, a son.
Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.
