According to this week’s A&S herald, the first barrier was damaged by an irate driver, a few days after it was installed. It was caught on camera, and police informed.

I notice the farm just before the closed bridge is called Ancumor. Strange name. Anyone know where it originates?

Google translate tells me that "an cù mòr” is gaelic for “the big dog”.

Sounds logical. I see it used to be Dubbs farm in the past.
