Mini Xmas Puddings

Post by Hughie »

Here are some wee mini Xmas puddings you can make for the weans - no baking. So the weans could make them themselves - err minus the brandy.

All you need is a cheap dark fruitcake from the supermarket. Crumble some of it up and mix in a baking bowl with some melted butter and brandy to suit. Just roll them into a ball about the size of a walnut.

Melt some white chocolate for putting over the top. You can cut up a few glazed cherries to stick on top. We just took a couple of green and red ones out of my fruitcake mix. (see my fantastic Mango Fruitcake recipe)

Made these again this year. Going to a couple of parties today and tomorrow. In Oz you're asked to 'bring a plate' - these will be on it. New arrivals in this country have been known to turn up with just a plate.   :santa01:
