ham and egg combo

Post by morag »

Not sure if I've posted this before, it's a family favourite, right up there with Eggs Benny! My husband's dad was career USAF officer, and so his wife was expected to entertain large gatherings. This is one of her 'brunch' deals.
1/4 cup a.p. flour
!/2 cup mayo
pinch salt
2cups milk..blend
Heat stirring constantly adding 5 /6 slices American cheese, 1 chopped onion, 1 1/2 cups cubed ham keep stirring! jar of pimientos, lastly about 6 hard boiled eggs, large chopped and serve over English muffins or toast.. This is a very forgiving recipe, you really can't screw up!

Oh aye, what you know as pimientos, here in Oz are known as Capsicum.

hi again morag. SWMBO would like to try this when the grandchildren visit and directed :hi: me to ask if the eggs, large chopped, are placed on the toast/muffins and the mixture poured over them?

If not, how is the dish served?

Thank you.
