Each week in our Men's Kitchen, one of us men get to make scones for morning tea - there are about twelve of us and two lovely lady
helpers supervisors. We all reckon this recipe is a winner - these scones with jam and cream are so lovely and so easy to make. A nice change from the biscuits we used to have at morning tea.
Grandkids are in for a treat next visit.
Added: No we didn't add the salt!

Was about to ask the same Meg. Would it be like 7up, or real lemonade?

It's just the normal commercial carbonated bottled lemonade that we know. So you could probably use soda water instead.

Sounds like I could use lemonade and you could use 7up Morag. Need to try this Hughie.

Just made your lemonade scones Hughie. I served them with clotted cream and wild blueberry jam. So good will make them again. Poppy
