Guinness Pie - for St. Patrick's day?

Post by Hughie »

For St. Patrick's day. As published in today's Melbourne Herald-Sun. Might have a go at these when the weather turns cooler and perhaps use the little used pie-maker sitting in the cupboard.

I made beef stew using Guinness and it turned out very good.

Hi Jo,
The Guinness wont effect you, but it'll give the pies a nice flavour. Most of the local clubs and hotels here in Oz have Guinness pie on the menu in the winter. The handy man will come around more regularly if you make them - might even move in.
