After seeing LP's photographs of the hole in the wall at Saltcoats harbour, took George over there today - sunny but freezing and around 2.30 saw someone hovering above Stevenston today - blue canopy I think - was that you Al?

Hi Meg,

Sorry, it wasn't me this time, it was my wife's birthday today so I 'had' to spoil her rotten, going flying today might have been hazardous to my health otherwise :)

hope to get up very soon though, it will be short flights in these temperatures though, but any flight is a good flight so we'll see what the weekend brings.

Cheers
Al

It was Sunday when we saw the guy with the blue canopy Al - that was the date I posted the message :-)

Hope your wife enjoyed her birthday "spoiling"

Hi All,

I'd like to share a short video with you this time, a frosty take off from Ardeer :) it's only a few minutes long.

The video was taken by one of my flying buddies, I'm the one in the blue canopy. enjoy

You'd need to invest in thermal underwear on days like that. Thanks, Al. I recognised the area where I learned to drive, using Charlie McGurk's wee ford Prefect - that was but a few years ago.
