I was reading about it this afternoon. He was apparently having some sort of heart attack and the surgeon that was fitting the stent was so nervous he made an erse of it.
Had some absolutely glorious Autumn days over the last wee while here in our part of Oz. Now we have five days of rain, or so they tell us - we're happy with that, we're not going anywhere anyway.
Winter starts tomorrow here, Brian. Not allowed up to Queensland this year - well not for the foreseeable future and by then the warmer weather will be back here.
Its been a bit chilly in Cambridge this week Hughie- a bit of a downer after the fine recent weather we have enjoyed. The forecast is looking good though for the next week, hope it is for you and Betty. Have a nice weekend
Oh, i nearly forgot- Can you still get fish and chips from the chippy or is it closed?
Bit chilly here too, Brian. Got new heating put in for the winter with the money the government gave us pensioners - hope everyone else spends theirs and helps the country back on it's feet - that's what it's meant to do. New carpet is next she reckons after a lick of paint.
No problems with the Fish and chips tomorrow (Friday) it's quiet when I go down to the shop. It's late Thursday night now and I'm looking forward to reading a few chapters of my latest David Baldacci book the third in the Amos Decker series.
Had my flu shot a few days ago now we're into winter.
We’re in for a bit of a blow this afternoon - winds up to 45 miles an hour. All my lovely wee plants have all been anchored down or moved into a sheltered area - we had a real storm this time last year and it stripped all my summer bedding flower heads and leaves off my peas and beans. Lockdown is ok when it’s warm and sunny - not enjoying today
