Do you sometimes search the net when you have an illness? Have to admit i do. Doctors seem to be divided on this practice. Went to a Dentist recently who was against as he said everyone is different and "anybody" can post on google which can make you more anxious.Just a thought.

brian f, There's pro's and con's I suppose but personally I never randomly "google" stuff pertaining to my health as there's too many quacks about. I stick to the genuine NHS sites on google as I'm more likely to at least get a half decent pointer as to what my ailment might or might not be. The Doc/Dentist/ is usually my first port of call though.
