You just don't get it.
TTT's is about Stevenston, Saltcoats and Ardrossan and the the folk who either live there or come from there.
If you want to watch the Waterford Whispers, do it on line, not on here.
JD.
Sorry .. but I think it's more than likely to be folk like yourself who "just don't get it"
There's probably been hundreds of outside links posted on here, yet some just can't help trying to make a big deal about it if they disagree with certain content.
There's nobody forcing you to click on and read it.

Away and don't be a sanctimonious ass
Stivis, hi.
I had never heard of the Waterford Whispers.
And
I did pick up on the satire, but found the tone negative and unpleasant.
That is in your head
The piece was thrust upon me out of the blue where I had no clue to where it was coming from.
.How was it thrust on you
You choose to view, not me I didn't choose for you
I was thus at a considerable disadvantage in placing its antecedents.
Diddums
This is what we get when hijacking other folk's humour and satire
. Mind to use the royal we
It's best to make our own points using our own humour and satire.
I've actually got up and did humorous and witty speeches
That way, we all know who we're talking to, know where they're coming from and are better prepared to judge how to take it on board.
Again I repeat Away and don't be a sanctimonious ass
When I saw that when you first posted it , I didn't reply I merely thought you didn't understand
I NEVER originally posted the second link I was asked for a link ....So pay attention
The fact that the subject( humour) and your pontificating as to what is humour is or isn't
BTW you read a journal not watch it

Well I lost my partner after 32 years of marriage and I can tell you its much worse. I was only 56 and had all my life in front of me. At least they had the possibility of enjoying all their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I think she can count her blessings.

Prince Philip was born in Corfu. This was his 'house'. Pity it seems abandond. Could be a good tourist attraction.
