I disagree completely. To my mind, there was no likeness to any poetry that I recognised. There was absolutely no rhyme, or rhythm.
It was simply a prose political speech suitable to the occasion.
Not a fan of modern poetry, as you will have noticed.
A good number of years ago (in typewriter-times) I saw a perfect description of modern poetry; 'written on a typewriter which has a random line-return.'

Much better heard than watched, I think, with some powerful imagery, but what was going on with all those contrived hand movements?
