Yep - I'd rather have a dollar than a dime too. Great track.

Went Ok, although something went wrong towards the end - still getting a hang of the tech! But proved that it works. This may become a regular thing- any requests? And threetowners got a mention!

Playlist:

Colin Hay – I’m Walkin’ Here
Donnie Black & Malcolm Jones – The Ballachulish Stomp
Siobhan Miller – The Ramblin’ Rover
Mark Knopfler – Daddy’s Gone to Knoxville

Alasdair McCuish & the Black Rose Ceilidh Band – Virginia Reel
John Prine & Iris DeMent – In Spite of Ourselves
Jill Jackson – 1954
Gerry Rafferty – Don’t Give Up On Me
Elephant Sessions – Ainya’s
Skippinish – Walking on the Waves
Saw Doctors – The Joyce Country Ceilidh Band

That's her.

After Speedway, she played in a duo "The Chaplins", and then solo.

The Chaplins' EP is pretty good

Dunno yet - maybe thursday or friday - I’m filling gaps in the schedule when I can get away from work.

Bruce,

I came in from my garden at 3.40 p.m., saw the link, and tuned in just in time to catch the last two lines of John Prine and Iris Dement. Maybe not the track I would have chosen when the weans are off the school , but thanks for playing them. John Prine is grossly underestimated. I'm also a fan of Iris - like her singing "Our Town".
Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.

Another thing to keep you occupied is to learn or revisit the basic steps of dancing. Wife and I are now getting back to our love for Rock 'n' Roll dancing. We originally learned by joining a local R 'n' R group some ten years ago.

You don't need a partner to learn the basic steps. I learned the basic steps in our garage on my own. Consider it as exercise - play your favourite music and enjoy. here's the youtube video.
