Awright Brian, aye I must admit I'm missing going out in these crazy times. My opinion is we just right this year off for doing anything outside your own garden. I had read the cooncil had bought the kings and will turn it into housing. They must keep the facade as the building is listed it will be weird walking past it when it happens. How are yooz getting on?

Not that bad bonzo when the weathers good- Thinking of buying a patio heater can you recommend. But to tell the truth, missing the visits to the seaside. Takes me back to the beaches of the 3 toons.

Oh Happy Day!. At last all shops can re-open, also bars, restaurants and hairdressers. At the moment 7 out of 10 business will re-open in Lombardy.
Hotels can open too but as the Italian borders are closed until June 3, there will be no tourists around so whats the point? Thousands of people who work in this industry are still anxious to get back to work. My daughter included. There's a slight optimism for July. Villas and Gardens are re-opening too, but without the tourists and organised school trips they won't be very busy. From today churches can have services as before, but with no shaking of hands 'in sign of peace'
Pope Francis will be re-opening St. Peters Cathedral in Rome, shut because of the lockdown, and mass will be heard regularly as before in every church. Today coincides with the 100th birthday of the deceased Pope Saint John Paul 2, and Pope Francis will be going down to the crypt for the religious service.
Swimming Pools and Gyms can re-open from the 25th May, next Monday. The grandchildren are putting on weight through lack of excercise, just like myself. Schools however cannot open until September which is another 4 months.

Finally a touch of normality in our lifes, the sun is shining and everybody is happy.

Thankfully you were on the Sea Princess and not the Ruby Princess Hugh.

Yes, we were on a 28 day domestic cruise around Australia, it was called off after 8 days. We sailed back into Sydney the day before the Ruby Princess arrived. It was a worrying time with returning overseas passengers cramming into the domestic terminal and with many flights cancelled including our original flight back to Melbourne.

Sorry to hear of the collapse of the Specialist Leisure Group who run 7 of Scotlands most important Hotels and Bus Companies including Shearings, Wallace Arnold and Caledonian Coaches. This will have a knock- on effect to our hotels over here who work continuously with these groups of Tourists, all reservations have being cancelled and so many people out of work. Very sad indeed. This virus is affecting all walks of life. Heard that the car hire company HERTZ has also gone into administration. Who will be next?

I'm getting angrier and angrier about this watched shapps trying to defend him on sky news earlier this morning. The crux of this is that he travelled 200 odd miles with his wife showing symptoms of Corona where we have clearly been told to stay put for 7 days.
To be fair to sophie ridge she got tore into him, unlike the BBC's Laura kunsberg who seem to be the governments personal press secretary.
