Re: National newspaper
Didn’t realise that rag was still in circulation
Re: National newspaper
I saw this newpaper for the first time ever at the weekend, when it had a banner headline hailing "HEROES".
These turned out not to be policemen, or soldiers under fire, but people who went on a march, and they were heroes because it was raining.
Can't help but think that, whatever your politics, a sense of perspective has been lost somewhere.

Credit to the National. Certain rags are oblivious to the fact Stevenston has 2 T.

Re: National newspaper
I was guessing - Stevenston, Saltcoats, Ardrossan. To my way of thinking they got it round the wrong way.
Re: National newspaper
Gee, I must be having a blonde day.
I immediately thought Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston BUT when I counted the letters on my fingers, thought I must be wrong.
I of course put Ardrossan first and that doesn’t have the correct number of letters, so didn’t go any further.

Everybody knows that Stevenston automatically always comes first.

Re: National newspaper
If Stevenston came first alphabetically, like Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston is, would we care. Lol. Or is it because A S&S come in line. We are just so used to the three towns coming in a particular order i suppose we dont think about it til someone puts it back to front.
