Examples are (good), gooder,goodest...unfriend
You get the gist

Re: Newspeak?
Lol, John, I enjoyed my school days, had teachers I liked mostly. I had long hair then, usually in pigtails or ponytails, the boys had a hard time resisting a tug of it,but knew better! So feeling my hair pulled I turned around to batter the culprit, it was teacher Jim McCutcheon, he backed away, hands up, lol! But, back on topic, I hope, I get a bit of a grimace when the use of some words e.g. misuse of was / were, stuff like that. But I think, that now with internet and all, 'We're doomed,Doomed I say!

And what is man made leather?
Re: Newspeak?
Imitation leather? (fabric made to look like leather)?
Re: Newspeak?
it's a phrase that has been creeping in over the last two or three year being used in High end cars(mercedes, jaguar,Bmw,Audi, etc etc) for Upholstery.......It being Plastic like a 1972 Marina and Nobody asks what it is!!
Another one is the use of the word Industry, example the Banking industry.........It's not an industry it's a business
If you read through a newspaper business section it's awash with this type of nonsense,
how about "Disavows"???
