Many thanks for that Dreamer - great to see the underground tanks at Montfode from the air. And that caravan park is massive. I can remember when there were only a few caravans there and the smell from the nearby burning rubbish at the coup hung over the place.

There was also a golf course backing onto the Caley line further along towards Ardrossan from Jack's Road. I mind searching for golf balls there when I was wee.

In today's Sunday Melbourne newspaper. Anyone old enough to recall this air crash? I imagine like HMS Dasher it wouldn't have been reported in the newspapers at the time owing to the war.
