Hi,was Sam McCutcheon related to Willie Mitchell in any way?

Master Motors was the British Restaurant during the war,its been a snooker hall on 2 different occasions,a betting shop,a fibre glass company that made boats etc.

Hi, my father lifted lines for Mitchell on the corner of Union St for about 14 years.My uncle Matt lifted for Nellany.

Ive not been in the candy bar in saltcoats for ages,never mind Kilwinning,sad to say Candy bar has got worse over the years,rolls are half the size they used to be,last time I had a pie from there the sea gulls got it,I dont think Kilwinning could be any worse,just my opinion.

Dan was no relation to my family,but he must have been a very brave man.

I remember the bank building being at 2 Raise St.it was used for accommodation when I was a boy.I delivered milk to it.It was demolished about 1971????
