Moving back to my roots

Hi Everyone:

been a long time since I have posted, I have been really busy as after spending 25 years in Canada I have decided to move back to Saltcoats and spend my time with my Son, Daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons. I fly back May 7th, 2012. Looking forward to it, now if only I could find a job!

I fly out next Wednesday to spend 3 glorious weeks in Saltcoats with my family, can't wait to see them.

It definately is Danny Gibb or Danny Ferguson as he was originally called before his Mother re-married, they used to live 3 doors down from me on MacGillivray Avenue. He was this first person to wear Platform shoes in our area, even had his photo in the paper.

Reading all of the posts on 3 towners and just found a person I went to school with, her parents owned the Stanley Hotel. I have just e-mailed her. Great site!

Excellent site, just tracked down my Sons boat. He is Captain of a Tug Boat and is working up in the Orkney's just now.
