Re: Stevenston's first Council - Candidates
Interesting stuff, plus as you'd expect, many street and place names in the town were named after prominent local folk. Off the top of my head here there's 'Clements Place' .. 'Forde Crescent' .. 'Maxwell Place' .. 'Alexander Avenue' .. 'Clark Crescent' .. 'Hyslop Road' .. 'Lumsden Place' .. 'Murdoc...

Re: Celtic's new Manager?
I think if you check my post it was the stadium I called parkheid not the team. Yep, of course it was bonzo and to give it it's proper title it's 'Celtic Park' as was originally pointed out. :) The thread here seemed to momentarily go of on a wee humorous tangent, Hughie got in on things too. I rep...

Re: Celtic's new Manager?
brian f, I reckon the only 'doubters' who mattered to him in any sort of capacity were the Celtic supporters plus those connected to the club. I'm sure he wouldn't even have given a second thought to the opinions of anyone else - be that fans of other clubs or the ever present horde of media ghouls....

Re: The Scottish Premiership
Yeah another good season for Celtic so much fire power up front let’s hope they can take it with them into Europe next year. Remains to be seen if Celtic can improve on recent results in Europe next season as they'll be straight in with some of the big boys next term, as will the Gers if they win a...

Re: The Scottish Premiership
The league title is pretty much done and dusted for Celtic after an emphatic 4 - 1 victory today against Hearts. Congratulations to the Hoops.

Re: The Scottish Premiership
Should Celtic win at home against Rangers this coming Sunday then this years Premiership title will no doubt be theirs as they'd be 9 points clear with just 3 matches remaining - whilst also having a vastly superior goal difference. A draw wouldn't be a particularly bad result for Celtic either. Rea...

Steve Ellis has a unique sounding voice and the first time I heard him sing Everlasting Love it had 'Hit' written all over it.

Re: The Scottish Premiership
What's everybody's thoughts? I can't see past celtic winning it. Don't think Rangers will be quite ready to challenge. Aberdeen will promise great things but bottle it towards the end. At the other end I really fear for Kilmarnock think they'll struggle with all the youngsters they've brought in. A...
