George Heaney wrote 2 books. One dedicated to the The anniversary of A1 Bus service and latest a more detailed version came out 2016. Both have excellent details of these buses.

Be glad you do not have to put up with blow by blow and constant back stories of Bryant in the USA news. I recall earning my bronze D Of E. award. Would have got my Silver but for a misunderstanding over the outdoor section. i FOUND A John Taylor on a ship SUEVIC 22 Dec 1904 to Capetown. But DOB was 1872 and occupation was miner there was also an Alex 28yrs with him. Not sure if this is our John Taylor. Only one i found. As for Mary There was a Mrs Mary Taylor,29 yr, travelling on the SAXON S.A. to Southampton 26 May 19...
